Nicely done!

Thanks. You can't see wind, but the 1st snowstorm of the season was approaching for that night and a sustained 40mph "breeze" ensured clear air.

Thanks for your photos. It's nice to find out there is one other person on the planet that chooses camera, lens, and light over post processing.

You've obviously been there. Since my return, I've heard from others that they like the campground too.

Yes, it is on our way from Boise to Zion on which we usually spend a night (640 miles). We try to get to Zion in spring and fall.

We have several free alternatives for overnight but will use the Campground at Cathederal Gorge if we want electricity. Easy walk from the campground to the formations.

I use a picture from there as the wallpaper on my computer.

Thanks...Usually...if I can. I love digital photography...no limit on the number of shots, plus you can immediately see the results & discard if things didn't go right.

Long drive from Boise...I thought our round trip from Zion was long...440 miles by the end of the day (wandered around a bit). Your choice of seasons for Zion coincides with mine. Merry Christmas!

Beautiful shots of stunning scenery. I think it's impossible to go wrong in that part of the country.

It looks like wood rather than rock.
