What's the cheapest SD card I can use in my A6300 for still photography and will it be fast enough if I need to use it for burst mode? I'm advertising free pet photos in my area to help me practice my photography and I think I'm going to need a bunch of SD cards since the response has been more than expected...
Go to your local Best Buy and get a ScanDisk 32 Gb. You shoot in RAW or JPG?
Buy cheap but do not come back and say 'they do not work' or 'they messed with my camera contacts'.
Remember that you only get what you pay for and sometime an economy is an expense.
I shoot in both RAW and JPEG. I figured I could buy some inexpensive cards but I wondered how inexpensive I could actually get away with...
I thought of that also...What is the "least expensive" card I could use and not sacrifice quality?
Just check reputable companies and purchase their low speed card.

go to your local WALMART, they have a wide range of cards, class 4 and class 10. If writing speed is your problem go with class 10, other wise class 4 will do in most cases

You can get cheap SD cards from B&H. Lexar, Sony, SanDisk, Transcend, and many others. If you shoot RAW, a 32gb will do, as already mentioned previously. I do recommend at least 45MBs, or higher. You can buy Lexar SD Cards in pairs rather cheaply.
Are you handing out the cards to people? Is that why you are asking. Why not buy a bulk order of flasdrives and use your laptop computer to transfer the photos from your camera direct to the flash drives to hand out?

2 pack of 32 gb. SanDisk Ultra class 10 SD cards are on sell for 15.86. You won't find them for less than that. These two cards will give you more than a thousand shots.

If I have several clients would it be very difficult to keep track of each shoot thru separate folders on the sd card or should I be doing each one on separate cards so as not to mix them up?
Why risk it with a cheap ass card...go with Sandisk extreme pro. Get a smaller card and learn photo management by not spraying and praying.
Don't worry about separate folders or cards. When you start with a new pet, put the client's name on a piece of paper and shoot that.

Is a SanDisk Extreeme better than a SanDick cheapo??? Will it last longer, or just faster?!

I believe the 8 GB card is quite a bit cheaper, and more often on sale.
