It is funny you bring up Alice's, when in college, during Thanksgiving break, my housemates and I cleaned up the house and had a truck load of trash. We headed to the dump, it was closed, we drove around the country side trying to figure out what to do, when we found a pile of trash at the bottom of a ravine, we added ours to it. Next day I get a call, found my name on an envelope in some trash. I had to ask where it was because we were so lost when we finally dumped it that we, the two other guys where locals and I thought knew when the dump was open and where we were going, did not know where we were. Fortunately all we had to do was clean up ours and the other trash. Ever since that song has had a very personnel meaning, and our local radio station plays it several times on Thanksgiving.

Interesting that you mentioned it. Last night, somewhere in the middle of dinner (and drinks) with family and friends, several of us had the same idea - Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without revisiting Alice's Restaurant. Fortunately, We had Arlo in slot 128 of the CD changer. Old times and old friends...

OK, so how many of you actually had to go sit on the Group W bench?! You know the one. The one with the Mother rapers!
Well, I had to sit on it SOOO many times that I took a liking to it. So I sneaked in one night and stole it!!!
