Thanks for hosting Pat. I probably don't have much time on the computer this morning (today is my 34th wedding anniversary and my wife is still asleep :>) so I just have a few today. I developed a shot I took in the woods in B&W using a single focal point focus and the 2nd & 3rd is a great blue heron I saw sneaking around our lake yesterday. They are certainly shy birds and don't want you getting too curious. I shot these with my Sigma 15-600 and I am always amazed how tack sharp this big lens is.
Thanks for hosting Pat. I probably don't have muc... (show quote)

Beautiful, Paul. Love, love, love the B/W and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Nice group-like the detail on the first shot of the heron-and his eyes!

THe rosebud was taken last Sunday. Thought it was a little late to be budding out. A selfie and a old barn. I see this old barn every time I go to my home town.

PAT Thanks for filling in for RR. I like the left over shot. Finished ours yesterday.

enjoying everyone's posts from today and the past week. Glad to see you out and about Rufe
I can honestly say I never took one photo this past week--and that's unusual for me! Had some surgery on my foot a week ago and spending my days laying around with it elevated. Getting more comfortable to be sitting at the computer, but if I don't keep it up it wants to swell.
So hopefully it will be better soon and then man am I ready to go for a walk!

Foolin' around with PSE and came up with this composite photo that's sure to upset some in my subdivision which borders this rather small lake.

Nice shots lens cap. I like the single point focus with a wide open lens. Which lens did you get? I have the Tamron 2.8 and love it.
