THe rosebud was taken last Sunday. Thought it was a little late to be budding out. A selfie and a old barn. I see this old barn every time I go to my home town.

I like the selfie, Rufe.

Hi Pat. Haven't been on for awhile. My computer was hacked and I don't do as well on iPad. Waiting for grandson to have time to help. He travels a lot and is pretty busy with work. Wish I were computer savvy but am not. I try to find uhh and keep up with y'all.

pg 2 - Thank goodness for our grandkids hey? Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I was down in Brighton/Hove with my son and little grands; the family is packing up and heading to Washington DC for a couple of years (son's work) so I will be missing them.....But guess where I will be for Christmas/New Year? Son bought me a ticket to fly to over - yeah. Very excited indeed. Will it be colder than here in the UK? Hoping to see some snow as Devon doesn't get much.....Little grands are in the French section of WIS so at 3 and 5 years now have English, Spanish and French words in their vocabulary. . .

How about "very tired little devil" who is feeling somewhat overwhelmed wth the thoughts of Christmas and musical commitments etc. And who should be doing something other than checking the computer - HA!

Thanks for hosting Pat. I probably don't have much time on the computer this morning (today is my 34th wedding anniversary and my wife is still asleep :>) so I just have a few today. I developed a shot I took in the woods in B&W using a single focal point focus and the 2nd & 3rd is a great blue heron I saw sneaking around our lake yesterday. They are certainly shy birds and don't want you getting too curious. I shot these with my Sigma 15-600 and I am always amazed how tack sharp this big lens is.

Testing out my "new to me" 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. I thought maybe someone else might enjoy these too!

Nice shots lens cap. I like the single point focus with a wide open lens. Which lens did you get? I have the Tamron 2.8 and love it.
