Silica gel pack work well also. You can save the ones that come packed with various items and if you get 20 or so you can put them in a can or plastic bag or something suitable with the camera and they will dry it out. :-). It is so humid in South Korea in the summer I keep a four ounce silica gel pack in my camera bag.

I store my camera in a sealed Halliburton case with a gell pack.

It had been a month. The and the switch function had approved. I believe the sweat caused the original problem the switch would not work at all. After a couple of days the switch worked. The down function was intermittent and could not be relied upon. I think there was some debris left behind interfering with the contacts. The vacuum removed it and now the switch is reliable. I saw no evidence of moisture when using the vacuum.

I see the SLT 65 is listed on your information line.

What is your experience with Canon lenses on the Sony. Do you loose anything. Loose an F stop like the Canon FD to EF adaptors. How does the auto focus work. ?

my only experience has been using fd lenses with my sony alpha's. using only the better lenses,i get great results. but it's strictly manual focus.
