you can click watch to get email notification or once you comment you get them automatically - for the next lesson you will probably need to go to MWAC profile and click on her topics started - when she starts it , it will be on her list, hope that helps

Thanks. Just did that and am now back in business.

Sorry I'm late! I was out of town. Here are my submittals. Besides the effect of shutter speed, I learned a couple of other things: 1) It's really hard to see the menu in bright sunlight; 2) It's hard to see the little numbers at the bottom of the viewfinder when you're wearing glasses; 3) Autofocus doesn't work well with running water; 4) It's hard to manually focus a lens while you have a neutral density filter on the camera; 5) It's really hard keeping the manually-focused lens from rotating while you put on the filter.

1/160 sec, f/14, ISO 100
1/160 sec, f/14, ISO 100...

1/1000 sec, f/5.6, ISO 100
1/1000 sec, f/5.6, ISO 100...

1/50 sec, f/25, ISO 100
1/50 sec, f/25, ISO 100...

1 sec, f/25, ISO 100, Manual Mode, NDX 32 filter
1 sec, f/25, ISO 100, Manual Mode, NDX 32 filter...

I think I like the "manual" one the best.
They are all good though
I have the same problems as I need glasses too
Well done

I tried this indoors in the kitchen at night with incandescent lighting. When I set the SS speed to 1/1000 (1/500 & 1/800) photos were too dark. I tried altering the ISO to HI-1 and still find it dark. I guess I would need external flash (do not own) nor a tripod (for slow shutter speed)yet. Tripod is my next purchase!

Shutter Mode ISO 1600 F2 1/160 Incandescent
Shutter Mode ISO 1600 F2 1/160 Incandescent...

Shutter mode ISO HI-1 F1.8 1/1000 Incandescent
Shutter mode ISO HI-1 F1.8 1/1000 Incandescent...

Sorry to to inform to you. WMAC is no longer a member. They kicked her off. Another member who was allowed to taker her ID image and used it as his own and was allowed to post his remarks with her image. She was kicked off because she fought his use of her daughters image (which was her ID image). The administrator mentioned to me he didn't believe in conflict. SOOOOO he let this conflict on and on through the training sessions and then allowed the use on her ID image
I am no longer a member but only responded to this response. It used to be a fantastic site until the conflict was allowed. It was no longer a learning site but a site for abuse and conflict.
Sorry to report this to you as I am no longer a user to this site but only responded to your response.
Jennifer
