I've been using a Mac for several years. I would not go back to a PC. Whereas I had numerous issues with a PC, I have had no problems with my Mac. Some photo apps can be converted from PC to Mac. It's just a more stable computer.

For what you would spend for a Mac, you can get an Alienware (from Dell) that will outperform in nearly every category. Might want to check them out.
