as a passionate angler myself, these photos make me dream away.
The first one gives me sensation of being in those waders, feeling the excitement when that fly hit the water surface.

Beautiful Regis

I thank you very much, catalint. I also fish, but I am not a fly fisherman. This is a perfect fly fishing river and the fishermen
do catch a lot of trout and some salmon here.

That lake being the small lake at the end of the main drag in town (or just on the way out-can't remember the name)?

My neighbor across the hall used to fish that lake 3-4 times a week after he got off teaching in town. He did OK, and then had some company from CA. He took the couple fishing, and the lady latched into a 24 inch large mouth Bass (7 plus pound as I recall). Everybody knew Bruce fished that lake heavily, but had never taken anything like that out of the lake. Bruce insisted that he carry the Bass from the boat to the car.

He was into taxidermy and mounted that Bass and shipped it to the lady after he was done with it. He presumed to have bragging rights while it was in his possession.

Is that the lake you mention 2-3 miles to get to?

Hayden Lake is a 6-7 mile long lake on the NE border of Coeur d' Alene and Hayden and is know for record size fish. Fernan Lake is a 2-3 mile long lake on the eastern edge
of Coeur d' Alene and is a good family fishing lake but is not known for record size fish although every once in a while a large fish will be caught there. This lake is close to
the downtown area of Coeur d' Alene.

These are really lovely. I particularly like the first one. It has beautiful lighting. The colours in the background are quite nice. The reflection is really nice. I even like the twigs that are poking into the foreview. It's sort of like we're peeking at the fisherman. Nicely done.

I thank you very much, AzPicLady. The river is very scenic, but there are some bushes and trees that block the view here and there.
I appreciate your looking at my photos. I will be posting more fishing photos today.
