I missed many chances to buy this lens on eBay late 2015 or early 2016 but am still wanting one! If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, I've tried B&H, KEH and Adorama regularly but have not seen any other than the EF models. However, thanks for your suggestion!

This is a pretty high-end lens for a format Canon stopped supporting in 1987. I found your earlier post looking for the same lens. There's probably not that many in the world so you just have to keep actively watching where they only occasionally come up for sale. I'll suggest National Camera as another place to check. I shoot an F1N too. I bought a 300 f4L from NatCam last year for $300. This then generated the problem of finding drop-in filters where the lens came with only 1 clear... I looked every few days for about 2 months until I found an online shop within ebay that had 4 filters. They came from China about 10-days after ordering.

Yeah, I know it is a high end hard to find lens but its the one I want and am willing to wait for! The biggest problem I see is most of the telephoto FD 300mm f/2.8L Lenses I've seen lately, the cases are missing. I wouldn't want to have a lens without its case, especially an FD 400mm f/2.8L. Thanks for the National Camera suggestion, I'll give them a try!

You should always be checking KEH as well. I bought an FD 600 from them a few years ago. Good luck!!!

As far as filters for your FD 300mm f/2.8L Lens, that lens uses replaceable 48mm Filters and I have a bunch for sale on eBay under user name 360dlr333 and most are in excellent to near mint condition or New Old Stock. The reason I have so many is because I also own an FD 300mm f/2.8L lens and bought them in quantities to get the ones I wanted. The only one you have to buy as a drop-in is the Circular Polarizer Filter the others can be interchanged on the original filter holder.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm always checking them and B&H Photo as well as eBay. I have seen some here and there but the asking prices are usually ridiculously high.
