I figured it was more for video. That's why I asked if you shot video. I never got into that.

I can't imagine why anyone would be wanting to get rid of a D300. As far as I have seen and read about, it is the best camera for serious amateurs and aspiring professionals. I have had mine for over 3 years now and wouldn't swap it for anything else, not even a Leica. I have had only one boo boo, and that was due to my stupidity, not knowing how to operate it. I am doing better now. Why not quote me a price and I just might buy it from you? (email address: robbiedoug463@gmail.com) OK?

What you are reading today was probably written when it was the best camera for serious amateurs and aspiring professionals. And, it is as good today as it was then. But time goes by and there have been serious improvements. I passed D300 on to a family member who is having a great time taking pictures of the kids play sports.
