On Sony it is "A" for aperture priority, "S" for shutter speed priority and "M" for manual. Or have you limited participation to only canon and nikon users? What about Panasonic and Olympus shooters?

REALLY? I guess it's true you can't please everyone.

It seems there is a more inclusive way to word things when talking about all camera users.

umm not to be witchy but if you don't like the way I word a tutorial I took time out of my day to write, you could not post in it or better yet take the time to write your own. It simply amazes me that I (or anyone else for that matter) takes time out of their day to do something nice for other members and people find fault with it.

Somedays it just doesn't pay to be nice I guess.

Oh good grief! Now we are bringing political correctness to cameras? Since Nikon and Canon are 99% of the market, that cover about everyone and the rest can figure it out pretty well, I would guess.

MWAC - I love your idea, and I love your write-up. I have a dumb question: Where do we post our photos? Do we add them to this thread?

Also, where will we find subsequent assignments?

I once heard that on DSLR, that about 45% of the market belongs to Nikon, 45% belongs to Canon, and the rest of the camera's on the market share the last 10%. I also heard that Sony was making headways in the market, and olympus is crashing.

OK I get it you don't like me, that's fine, I've said it before not everyone is going to like me and truthfully that's not my issue or problem but maybe you could show some class and do me and the other people here who do want to learn and improve and leave this thread? You don't seem to want to help or really contribute what is it that you are actually adding to this thread unless of course you are attemping to put me down with your off hand snide comments.

Back to the subject, I look forward to the lesson, I just got my Canon 60D back and they replaced the screen, and gave me an updated filmware. The LCD screen looks great!
Hopefully I won't having any more problems with the shutter not going down.

Which brings to to a lesson I wanted to past on to everyone, (I sure many of you already know it...but) your LCD screen should not be exposed to sunlight if possible. So keep it covered. The light in it will fade, and it gets harder to see images if it is always left open.

Hurray! Hurray! Rachael got her baby back!!! This is a cool idea, for a thread I mean. I like photogirls, but felt like I missed the boat. This one, starting from scratch, is a good idea. Jen
