I think you're ahead of the game with your pp efforts; these are wonderful Carla.
Learning new software is challenging, and just when you get comfortable with it, something new comes along. I keep telling myself it's good brain exercise even though I feel like my head will explode.

I keep telling myself that I should stick with it and not walk away, shutting down the 'puter, which I'm inclined to do. And swear. And scream. I'm thinking perhaps all of my perseverance will prolong me getting dementia, but probably are pushing me towards mental breakdowns.

I'd say "buck up" but that sounds unsympathetic. I understand. I feel that way about pp work.

Bucking up is what I think I'm doing when I persevere. I just want it to be a fun, enjoyable thing and I hate tedium. "Sometimes you're the windshield, Sometimes you're the bug...But sometimes, it all comes together". And it feels so good when it does!
