I'll be interested to hear the OP's opinion, but I find #3 to be very appealing. I like the gritty textures. Which software or edits?

I am too and I appreciate it. It's the Franzis Color preset Artistic Framed. I liked Behind Glass too, but it pushed it too far. Thanks again! S-

Since coming here, I've discovered that I do not like the gritty approach, such as what Graham Smith often does - I guess I truly am a natural sort of guy.

Just to be clear - this is a statement of personal taste, and I truly respect the work that goes into that kind of thing regardless of how it may resonate {or not} with me.

Being free to follow your own artistic (or documentary, if you prefer that term) vision - and feeling free to share it here - is what most of us believe. Though I do occasionally read silly arguments (in main forum, usually) of the sooc vs. pp, raw vs. jpg variety
