New iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. 7 Plus has TWO rear cameras (28mm and 56mm FF Equivalent lenses; 10X software zoom).

New Watch Series 2.
Nike Watch.
Wireless and wired EarPods.

Over two hours of other revelations for Apple junkies.

You forgot to mention the 7 Plus Portrait Mode (auto background bokeh) and Lightroom speed on the phone.

Just recalling about ten or eleven years ago when I mentioned to my techie consulting PhD son that I just saw an ad for a wireless phone with photo capability. He remarked scornfully, "Who the hell needs a camera in a phone. That's just a stupid gimmick."

Yep. I watched it all. Too much to mention.

The press even ignored much of it. The CNBC article is riddled with errors, as was the Wall Street Journal article.

One BILLION iPhones later... More photos are made with them than any other camera.

Funny, I got my first iPhone in 08, when adults all had BlackBerrys and kids where embracing the new iPhones. In those days, as an adult you where ashamed to tell anybody you had an iPhone and certainly never pulled it out where someone you might know would see you with it!
AND there were more than 500 apps for it, whoooee!
My, my......, how the times have changed!!!
I'm no longer embarrassed!!!

My first cell phone came in a bag with a lead acid battery and a keypad on the phone. It transmitted 3 watts and weighed about 4 pounds.

No interest on my part, but apparently, many bloggers were annoyed that Apple bypassed them and Tweeted info about the new phone, which is not the routine way that new iPhones have been announced.

Amazing, right? It's no dSLR, but what it is is nothing short of a Star Trek fantasy.

Wouldn't you want your message as accurate and on point as possible? Doing your own tweets isn't an exclusive, but it does sharpen the message. I'm pretty sure they did it because the bloggers and press have been terribly inaccurate over the past few cycles.
