Back on July 21, I posted images of this high school volleyball player. Those were a few of the volleyball part of her session experience. Here are a few of the more traditional senior portraits. The first three in a local park, the last one on a hill with rain showers for a background just a bit after sunset.
All are lit with my usual 24" Chimera Collapsible Beauty Dish (with front diffuser which really makes it a 24" Octa. Light from Nikon SB-800s and Pocket Wizard Flex/TT5s
I tuned in today just in time to see your beautiful work. Thank you. djt

Not quite 6' tall, but she is close. What a joy she was to photograph.
I love the second shot. Just something about it.

Hi Cliff,
I like #1 and #3 the best. In #1, it is an eye catching image with great color and eye focus. The only thing I question is the amount of light on her face - almost too much for me - not quite specular highlights, but if it was toned down just a tad, I would find it more interesting giving just a little difference/contrast in skin tonality and some possible faint, but slightly more needed shadows camera right side of her face, for a tad more detail and/or interest in her face.
In #3, I love what you did with her full body shot complimented extremely well with the vertical bridge support structure. I believe the lighting is really great with the slightly darker lighting bringing out the warmth of the scene and her body height fits right in with the bridge structure. And yes, I like how you have a little more light on her face drawing attention to it and the darker lower body (her pants) as well as the leg being bent at the knee.
As usual, your images and skill exhibited are top quality.
Best Regards,
Tom
A beautiful set of images for a lovely young lady. They are all excellent, but i can't decide on my favorite, either the 1st. or 3rd.
Thanks all for your nice comments. She has not seen these yet. Sales session is Friday. I did tell her mom that arranging for a line of credit or just taking out a second mortgage might be a good idea. She just laughed...she has no idea...
