I was up on Mt Rainier before sunrise because . . . well sometimes you have to get up real early or stay out late to catch scenery like this. At about 6:15 AM this Sunday, (8/28/16) there was a very large lenticular cloud due southeast about 10 miles from the summit that was blocking the sunrise light. Then, the lenticular move a bit away and for about 5 minutes I had this interesting light to work with. I was hiking as quickly as I could up the mountain so this is a hand-held photograph. No time to stop and set up the tripod. Since it was very low light, I had to move my ISO to about 500. So, there's a bit of grain to this photograph. This is not the final print quality - I'll work on that later.
