excellent set Jim. #2 is a spot on shot. gary
Nice series, Angler. It would make an outstanding advert for buying a robin. For $100, the Bronze Package, you get number one and a packet of bird seed. For $200, the Silver Edition, you get robin number two, along with the bird seed and a plastic bird bath. Go for the Gold, robin number three, only $1000, and you get the bird, blue-ribbon sifted seed, a ceramic bath with recirculated holy water, and a UHH member to photograph him bathing!
I personally think one would have to go for the Gold Package, don't you?

Very nice, Angler. Over the past year or so, photographs of the UK Robin have been posted in our forum. I am thinking that you may have been one who has done this. I mention this to you because the UK Robin looks to be a much friendlier bird than is the USA Robin. Robins here in the USA can be cantankerous and bossy at times whereas the UK Robin looks to be settled and far more friendlier. Have you noticed these differences with the Robins or are you not familiar with Robins here in the USA? Robins here in Ohio during spring and summer months dedicate most of their time raising and taking care of their young, although; the parent Robins can be quite aggressive. To the contrary, I would imagine that female Robins in certain areas of California spend most of their time taking care of their young while the males donning lavender colored tutus gather together reading poetry to one another while preparing and arranging bouquets of flowers to be photographed in girly guy flower shops.

Morning Doug and thanks for looking in I appreciate it very much.Glad you liked them . I've posted lots of photos of the UK Robin Doug and must admit it's my favourite bird as well as our national bird. They are a very inquisitive little bird and a joy to photograph and also they can hold their own when it comes to a bit of battle with the other birds.A few years ago when I used to go fishing regular Robins used to perch on my rods then come to take fishing bait from my hand with no fear at all
