...the first one was photographed yesterday in Greenodd Cumbria and the second two where photographed last week in Rainford village in Sthelens.

A beautiful bird Angler! Well done. I am envious of you and your technique. The feather detail in image #2 is superb IMO. Do you mind telling what camera/lens you used to capture these three images?

Thanks for looking in Garth i appreciate it very much.Glad you liked them.My camera is a Sony a77 11 and the lens is a Sigma 150mm-500mm.Hope this helps.

As I'm sure you already know your Robins look different than the ones here in the states. Evolution I suppose.

Google says your camera is competitive with the Nikon D7100/D7200 although I note yours has a articulated screen that my D7200 does not. Still, even using my D7200 with the Nikon 200-500mm f5.6 attached, I am unsure that I could equal what you have accomplished. I notice your "Robin" has different colouring from the "American" robin that is common place here in western Canada. Although I do not have a way of comparing size for size, I get the feeling your robin is a little smaller than our robin. I must do a "Google" teach and see what the differences are.
