The first morning, I missed an "invisible step" leading off the lanai onto the pool decking, caught the edge of the surface where it met the lawn, turned my ankle and fell over (thankfully on the soft lawn). I was lucky. It messed up my snorkeling for a couple of days and limited hiking, but I managed to keep up with the rest of our family most of the time. Other than that, we enjoyed the Hawaii very much and liked the slower pace there. Our rental was about 1,100 feet above Kona - cool at night and very pleasant during the day. I could be very happy there. Whether I post photos of the house remains to be seen, but it was perfection.
I'm sure you know the area and am glad you're enjoying the photos as I relive the all too short vacation.
