What a great introduction to a long-standing tradition for him! Excellent shots, but it's all about the experience and bonding. Good stuff, Jim! Oh, and nice fish!!!
Wonderful set Jim and I can feel the joy and pride in your grandson & son's faces, what a catch!!!
I enjoyed them all and glad to hear you had a wonderful time!!
Excellent shot and fantastic memories.
When I lived in North Dakota, I would make frequent trips to Warroad MN and fish that lake on the states side. We caught many fish like that. They called them 'jacks'. We did mostly catch and release except for some that we wanted to take back home, just a couple of coolers full. That's a great lake to fish. Its one of the only things I miss about the north country since I moved to Texas.
Your grandson just got some life time memories with Grandpa, good one.
Great set, Jim and glad you guys had fun!

I was lucky enough to spent 2 weeks fishing in Lake of the Woods in Ontario Canada. The first trip was with a group that we have gone there for 30 yrs. The second trip was with my son and grandson [his first trip], he just turned 13. What a joy it was.
Very nice series. There is nothing like creating family memories. I am sure your grandson will be talking about it for years to come.

Thank, Randy. Yes I have been waiting for him to get old enough and want to go. The bonding was also great. My son and I have that bond and now I hope I have it with my grand son.

Thanks tramsey. All of our Muskies are catch and release. The limit is up to 54", so keepers are hard to come by. Hopefully this will become an annual tradition.
