Fishing trip to Canada

I was lucky enough to spent 2 weeks fishing in Lake of the Woods in Ontario Canada. The first trip was with a group that we have gone there for 30 yrs. The second trip was with my son and grandson [his first trip], he just turned 13. What a joy it was.

Thanks Jim. It's a 40 inch Musky. the first big fished my grandson boated.

Nice photos, I've always wanted to do a Canadian fly in trip. I hope you explained to your grandson that fishing isn't always going to be like that! Some of those places are like shooting fish in a barrel. I hope he doesn't have unrealistic expectations from now on whenever he goes fishing.

Excellent set Jim, your grandson looks proud as punch and so would I if I caught one that size!! Love the Pelly.

Thanks grillmaster. Its a great place to fish and we don't have to fly in. Yes we told him that's why they call it fishing and not catching.

Thanks Sylvia. He was very proud of himself. Pellys and gulls gathered every time we eat supper on the beech. always looking for a hand out.

Thanks MT. I am sure he will be able to write a good story about What I did on my summer vacation when e gets in school. LOL
