Some old ones from the film days, scanned from 6x6 film.
Really nice. There's nothing like the quality of medium format film! These are beautifully done.
Wonderful pictures. Can you tell us what kind(s) of color film you used for the colored photographs?

Thank you very much, mostly Kodak Ektachrome as I developed my own film. In 35mm. I liked Fuji Velvia.
Thank you very much my friend, appreciate your comment.
Wow .., a time gone bye ..., I had both a Rolliflex and an Ikeflex .. And a Kodak retina IIIA .. made the big glass slides ...actually was my fathers passed on to me ... Anyway .. Pictures are timeless ... You can take a picture today .. Store it for years and then call it up again and post edit ...the picture taken in 1963 of the Yosemite Half Dome will be the same taken today .. Only digital .., The rock will still look the same ..
When I release my post edited stuff years from now ...people will not know the time period of the landscape shot unless I tell them ... Post editing my wonderful landscapes I have saved for years will fill many a day when I retire ... Unlike so many out there .. My FAVORITE thing about photography is Post Editing ..I may take months or even years on 1 shot .. That means going back to it tweaking and storing and then going back again ..
Your shots look just beautiful ....., they represent your expertise with color film ... Expensive and non forgiving unlike digital ... And post editing ..
Thank you very much Dr. Nikon. That is what I have been doing since my retirement, the only thing I am not to good at is after processing, but even by only dodging and burning I improve some images. You are correct images of the Half Dome are timeless, I recently posted some pictures from glass negatives made in the late 18 hundreds of Yosemite, my picture taken at the same spot now looks exactly the same, only the tree line has a little changed. Now Seascapes are different, the same cliff but always a different surf.
As for your 3 cameras, I know all them very well, the Zeiss Ikoflex was a great camera but not as popular as the Rollei.
One of my hundreds of 1/2 dome ..
Bravo Mike, the medium or large formats are still very attractive option, especially for landscapes!
Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful Rolleiflex gems!
A super camera and film images to drool over!! Lightning shots---its been on my bucket list like forever and I live in an area that gets its fair share. What an enviable shot!! Each of these is a winner,Mike, and I've now got drool all over the keyboard! Your ability to compose a shot is edifying and inspiring!
