Being inland about 25 miles, and a bit West of the Mojave Desert, I get a lot of clear skies. (Even the Solar installers said, "Oh yeah, this is Santa Clarita. Lots of sun!)
Now what I'd like is a switch to cause a power outage to darken the place up a bit.

It's cooler at Craig's, but clearer at Sonny's.

It actually wasn't that bad last year. We sprayed ourselves with distilled water and stayed pretty cool during the peak of the warm part of the day.
There is always the option of a drive with the AC on as well.

It's a dry heat...
