A real "cliff-hanger" there, Randy! You could do book covers, with your photos! Great as always. TG

Thanks very much, TheeGambler. Glad you enjoyed this one. Hard to beat Topaz ReStyle for setting moods, and there were several that worked well for this one, as a last step in the processing. Chose this one, called 'Dead of Night,' and played around a bit with it. Great fun. And then, of course, had to come up with a story to add a little more tension to the image.

Thanks for your kind comments and visit, they're very much appreciated!

I agree with all of the comments!![/quote]

Thanks, CAS1951. Pleased that you had a bit of fun with this. They're a hoot to work on, and even more fun to come up with a story to go along with the image. I thought this one worked quite well, as the the story fit the image well.

Thanks for your kind words and those thumbs, it's most appreciated, and glad you stopped by!

Randy I trust this meets with your approval and that you don't take it as a slight upon your integrity but I seriously doubt that you are fully aware of the risks this undertaking is exposed to.
I think she has probably underestimated the guile of Jack. This is indeed a cunning and dastardly character who's nocturnal and nefarious activities sends shudders through the most hardened of police investigators, as for the local bobbies, well, don't expect them to contribute to the apprehension of the said villain, they all live in fear of him.
Madame witch is either grossly mis-informed or has probably overestimated her skills in dealing with such a miscreant. I truly fear for her wellbeing.
Due to my misgivings about the outcome of her quest I have contacted Dr Watson, who has reluctantly agreed to remain on standby throughout the night.
Inspector Lestrade's single-mindedness and refusal to monitor the movements of the witch, claiming that she is nothing more than a foolish woman on a fool's erroneous errand does nothing to quell the concern that I have.
Despite his disdain for Lestrade, Holmes proved himself to be, what others probably consider extremely uncooperative, aloof of the dilemma at hand.
So to summarise, she will be meandering the streets of Whitechapel, without any expectation or hope of anyone coming to her rescue in the unfortunate event of her falling prey to Jack.
Dr Watson will remain on standby at Baker Street. Lestrade has been informed of Watson's vigil and has agreed to send a constable with all haste to summons him if circumstances warrant it.
Beyond this, I am at a loss as to what can be done to safely extract her from the mission.

Thanks for alerting Holmes and Dr. Watson. The Ripper was a most dangerous character, and poor Lestrade was quite beside himself over our poor lady's safety.

However. Without giving away the rest of the story, it's just possible our combatants here aren't alone in the night, that perhaps there might be a third party watching, unseen in the shadows, waiting, just as we are, to see what happens...

Thanks for your contribution to the story, enjoyed it and hope you had some fun with it, and thanks as always for your visit! It's much appreciated!

When Jack and the Dark Lady come face to face he will go weak at the knees! Then all her options are open, what will she do Randy? The tension is building for the next instalment......stunning portrait, beautiful eyes. Once again great work.

Thanks, Sylvia. Glad you're having fun with this, and pleased you liked the image, as the tension builds. Will the demonic Ripper ignore her beauty and carve her up before she can fight back? Or can she somehow find the strength to forget her own fear and take him down? Ooooh! A real nail-biter...

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're always very much appreciated!

She's becoming more sinister in appearance as the story unfolds.

Thanks, Vicki. A conundrum. Does the murder of Jack the Ripper make her more wicked, or does it mitigate her wickedness? Is she dispensing Justice? Or is she just another murdering vigilante, killing him for her own ends, to satisfy her own lusts? Or if he's demonic, can she in fact kill him at all?

Difficult questions. So I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, whether we get any answers... ; )

Thanks for stopping by and your astute comment, it's very much appreciated, and thanks for the thumb!

If you let Dark Lady die in your story, Randy, none of us old guys will ever speak to you again.

LOL!!! Thanks, John. I won't say not to worry, because we should. The Ripper is demonic, a very dangerous creature. And for a young witch-in-training to take him on alone and unaided? That's definite cause for concern. She may be in way over her head on this.

I'm holding my breath to see what happens. I'm very much afraid for our beautiful lady.

Let's hope her guardian angel hasn't taken the night off... (okay, that's a hint! But don't tell anyone...).

Thanks for your visit and threat (lol!), it's taken seriously! : )

The plot is growing pea-soup thick and the tension is nearly unbearable. I thought you liked us, Randy

btw, did your beautiful portrait model have any idea where you would take these stories? I can imagine some veerrry interesting conversations if you didn't warn her - lol.

Will she disembowel him, tear out his heart and dine on it with fava beans, or simply make him disappear totally, can't wait to find out...beauty of a shot of her!!

Lol, thanks, Linda. And I DO like you, or I'd have made up some really crappy story. Or none at all, heaven forbid, lol. And yes, my model was amply warned, both by myself and my lovely assistant, her sister, what was likely to happen to her photos. But as she had a starring role in some of my earliest wicked witch images, I think she knew what was in store, just not the specifics. And of course, neither do I, until I post them and add the intro.

Hope you're enjoying it despite the tension, and thanks as always for the smile and your visit. Always much appreciated!

Thanks, Bob. Any of those are possible. And of course, he just might do the same to her! So this one's not over, not by a long shot. Scary stuff! Can't wait to find out which of them brought the chianti!

Thanks for the smile and your visit, always enjoyed and appreciated!

I'm on the edge of my seat. The tension is awful. Such a pretty lady and yet........
Sorry, I've got to go hide somewhere -- like out in the middle of the lake, listening to the Loons. It's calm out there and worry free.
I hope you understand Randy.
But let me repeat -- she's such a pretty lady. You haven't shown us a bad side.

Thanks, Pierre. I wish I could join you on that lake, as I'm shaking in my shoes here. Will she defeat the monster, or will he feed on her? And is there no one who can help her, if she runs into trouble? She may well be in over her head here, tho one does not become a Dark Lady by being sweet, shy, or retiring.

A very pretty lady, and no evil in her, of course, in real life. Maybe just a little wicked, enough to make her interesting, lol.

Thanks for your fun comments and visit, always much appreciated, and take along the mosquito spray if you're out on that lake after dark! The silver cross and garlic won't get it done... ; )

Did The dark Lady manage to fulfil her quest and earn her place as a wicked witch? Did she manage to be like her sister the wicked witch Madame P? We will have to wait with bated breath for the next posting....

Great work on this picture Randy, I really do like it..

Nice start to this story Randy can't wait to see where it leads the Dark Lady. Can Madame P. help or is she on her own? Also love this image well done my friend.
