In the final image below Mom is showing remaining twin how it's done. See youngster in the nest screaming, "No, no I don't wanna go!"

The flying eaglet was already in tree adjacent to nest tree when I arrived. There was about an hour's worth of false starts before it took off again, and as you'll see I missed the take-off by a half second! (My in-flight shots are blurry)

Thank you all so very much for following this year's family with me!

terrific shots of mom and the twin linda...it's been fun following your adventure with those magnificent eagles.
now what is your next big adventure going to be?

Thanks so much, Merry! July is rough because so hot and sun so harsh. I'm up at 4 a.m. these days, will take a quick trip up to mountains this morning to see what Miss Rainier is up to. It is sunny there too today, just cooler

Thank you, Carla! That area is only 30 minutes or so away, so I didn't actually leave the house 'til 6:30 a.m. most days. I guess for some, that's still a bit early
