Ordered this June 2 had before noon June 3
Didn't care much about the free stuff had extra bags and memory cards the watson battery started losing charge after a few minutes of using the menu.

anyway the following Monday they sent an email they were giving away a WD 4 TB ext hard drive with the camera.
I sent CS an email and basically said wish I had known. I really could have used the drive.
They said send the other stuff back. I told them I used the things already, they said send them and gave RMA with shipping label.

I packed it all up and a few days later I had the drive.

Soooo. I cancelled a audio technica mic I had in my amazon prime cart and bought it from B&H. I'll be ordering a Tamron 150-600 from B&H tonight.

I agree with you that B&H is great.

My gripe is with their use of "expedited" shipping. Expedited means "sped up", or as dictionary.com defines it: "to speed up the progress of; hasten: to expedite shipments."

But B&H uses 3-day shipping. To me, that's okay, but not expedited. Why not just call it "3-day shipping?"

As much as I love B&H, when I have a severe GAS attack, I will sometimes buy from Amazon, which occasionally even has same day shipping. Of course, that usually means I need to pay sales tax. But GAS is GAS, and certain needs must be met. :)

And I have to add something I discovered while walking around NYC with my son this spring. The B&H folks offer free parking about a block away from there store. Now that is nice, especially in a town notorious for high parking fees.

I just bought the Sigma 150-600 with Dock. My initial, subjective response is that the lens and Dock are great. Have you considered the Sigma? The Dock could be the deciding factor.

As for the bundled stuff, I recently bought the 80D and asked the sales guy if I could switch out the free, unwanted stuff for something I really wanted. Not a problem. As for shipping, they have always shipped my orders when promised and UPS delivers them when promised. Being second-day UPS, I have no need to pay for shipping.

Throw in the free parking and you have a class act that is hard to beat. How can anyone criticize them for taking the holidays off? And they pay all employees for it.
