Cholly, I voted "remain" but that doesn't mean I didn't have doubts or that I can't understand the concerns of the admittedly small majority.

The United States is about to celebrate its 240th birthday.

With the exception of a 4 year period, this great experiment has been EXTREMELY successful.

A collection of 13 different Colonies with different economies and interests and populations some how managed to grow together to become the most powerful nation in the history of mankind. A country that many around the world look to and look up to and want to be citizens of.

The EU has the SAME potential... but people have to be WILLING to be patient AND pay the price to MAKE unity work.

The English have a proud past. And while many think that they can re-live that greatness, THINGS HAVE CHANGED.

We live in a GLOBAL ECONOMY.

NO NATION CAN GO IT ALONE.
The United States is about to celebrate its 240th ... (show quote)

The doubts and concerns are clearly real and justified. It is a matter of how they are addressed. No system is perfect, and clearly changes will always need to be made, the concern is really how to go about doing that. Some of us appear to feel that working from the inside is more productive, and divisive or separatist policies are less successful.

We'll see how it all transpires...

Wait... THOUSANDS rally near Parliament to protest BREXIT?!?!

IS this thing over... or will there be a revote?
