Well that would be nice....as long as they don't send me a refurb.
Thanks all for your encouragement...

(I responded to this....but I don't see it...)
ANYWAY....NEW would be very nice as long as they don't send me a refurb....but how would I know if they are just sending me a replacement. Because I got the camera in Nov 2015, there was nothing to photograph except dull snow and lots of 'brown' for months......many things around here in NY state are JUST now budding. So I haven't taken too many photos w/ this camera....I guess thats why this surprised me w/ the LCD problem.....But I will just wait and see....fine camera......for my needs.....

Technically, even if they send you the same camera back with just a new screen, you will be receiving a "refurbished" camera. More than likely, that is what they will do. But I did have a point and shoot that they sent back after "repair" that the serial number showed it was refurbished but newer than the one I had sent in! That was in 2007, passed off since then to my son, and still in great working condition. Either way, Olympus will make it right.

I had that happen to a Olympus bridge camera it wasn't long after the screen got so bad that the camera was not useful any more, I found out later that sun and heat( I was living in Maui at that time and I took many sunrise and sunset shots also the suns reflection on water) is probably what happened, that was a nice camera it took fantastic shots. My advice is sent it back to get fixed while it is under warranty.

I don't have a problem with my new camera!

I bought an Olympus M10 in the November 2015. I am now beginning to recognize slight horizontal lines in the LCD. They are ever so slight almost appear to have a slight red hue to them. Has anyone experienced this and doesn't mean I have to replace this LCD. I have never noticed this with any of my other camera LCDs except when the LCD sensors were about to go.
Anyone experience this, please advise.

Chicopee, rest assured that Olympus will see you right as they have their reputation to keep up, as so rightly all the members here have demonstrated.

As your camera is still under guarantee it will either be repaired or they will replace it with a new one. They wouldn't replace new with a refurbished one.

Hopefully not long to wait and come back and tell us.

Have a good day.

Heather

yes Maui was great we lived there for six years so leaving paradise was extremely hard but retirement does not give me enough to live on there, but it does give me enough to get back there a couple times a year

UPDATE: TO MY "PLEASE TELL ME"
I sent my olympus M10 in for repair and got it back in 6 days w/ numerous things that they addressed, not just the LCD that they replaced. So as soon as the sun shines, I'm ready to give it a test run. Thanks for all your 'support' and 'encouraging' words.
Happy camper once again......

That is wonderful news. I am so pleased for you. It is like having a friend back who has been away on holiday. I am glad that Olympus lived up to their reputation, so to speak.

Have a good day.
