I don't have a problem with my new camera!

I bought an Olympus M10 in the November 2015. I am now beginning to recognize slight horizontal lines in the LCD. They are ever so slight almost appear to have a slight red hue to them. Has anyone experienced this and doesn't mean I have to replace this LCD. I have never noticed this with any of my other camera LCDs except when the LCD sensors were about to go.
Anyone experience this, please advise.

Assuming you bought it new, it is still under warranty. Send it to Olympus for service.

Ring Olympus Customer Service in your country and they will tell you exactly what is wrong with your camera and how you can have it repaired, if that is the case. I have found them very helpful un the UK. In fact, I ring them about most things regarding my camera if I don't understand the manual.

PixelStan77 and Heather lles are correct. It sounds like a problem, but only Olympus can say for sure. All my E-mails to Olympus have been answered in a timely manner and repairs completed without cost while under warranty.

Call or e-mail customer service. There may possibly be a simple solution, such as a firmware update. Or, they may tell you to send it in for repair. Either way, do it now while it is under warranty. BTW, is it safe to assume that the lines are not showing up in your photos?

Yes, it is probably promising a progenitor of a problem. That is the prognosis.

No lines in photos.....the olympus rep had me check....so she said it wasn't the sensor.....probably just the LCD

The may end up just sending you a new Camera rather than go to the trouble and expense to "repair" the LCD.
