wow.. I can't believe how people disrespect the President of the United States, it's hard for a citizen of another county to respect the citizens of the United States when they blatantly refer to their leader as Adolph Obama, a direct play on words refering to Adolph Hitler.

How can you seriously put your leader in the same catergory as a man you killed millions of people because they didnt' agree with his belief system? REALLY??? How disrespectful not only to the President of the United States (which I thought you were taught to show respect too??), but it's also very disrespectful to every citizen of the US and every survivor of the Holocaust.

Sometimes I am just simply amazed how some people will just throw around names, without thinking what they truly mean. I'm also just as amazed to see how people show such lack of respect to an office I was told should be held in the highest regards. I know I wouldn't want that job and I respect any person that would think of holding that position, I don't have to agree with their politics but I will respect them for their desire to run and hold that position.

Here's a little world secret... if you want other world leaders and it's citizens to show respect to your President, as a country you must first show him some respect. When as a nation you belittle that indivual, you risk dimensioning the respect of your leader by the rest of the world.

Young lady, you have much to learn about history, and the American political scene. You might also look around you and discover just what foreign leadership really thinks of this American president.

How many U.S. Presidents have you ever heard tell the whole world that America is not a Christian Nation? How many U.S. Presidents have apologized to the world for the supposed arrogance of the American people? And how many U.S. Presidents have bowed down to a foreign leader and kissed his hand?

You need to study American history a lot more before you question your elders.

first do not refer to me as "young lady" it is disrepectful and I will not have it. I have not refered to you in any way that could even come off as showing any disrepect. To gain respect one must show respect. Just because you are older than me, does not automactially mean you gain my respect. My parents raised me to aks quesitons, not to follow blindly. Asking questions is what makes a person wiser and able to form their own opinions.

I really hate to break this to you but I wrote my thesis on the movement of civil rights in the United States as compaired to the movement in Canada, and how that differences affected the out come on each side of the boarder. That coupled with my education which taught about world issues, not just my nations history, I would wager my American History knowlege might be broader than you think.

America is NOT a christian nation, just like Canada is NOT a christian nation, they are nations that were founded to by people seeking refuge and separation of Church and State. As such both nations have and will conitue to welcome immigrates from all over the world, regardless of their nationality, religion and race.

FYI: Ronald Regan on behalf of the U.S. government apologized for the internment of the Japanese to the world.

President Bush also apologized to the Afghans when a Koran was mishandled by a soldier in 2008 (apparently the americain soldier shot the Koran).

There are actaully many well documented cases where a US Presient apologized to another nation for the behaviour of it's citizens, I would gladdly located a few more if you so require.

Hey MWAC! How ya been? I do respectfully disagree with one of your points. If you look around the world it's very difficult to find a leader who is not being disrespected by his/her countrymen. A few years ago the Canadian Prime Minister was really catching He** but I don't recall why. Look at Europe most are under the gun for one reason or another.....Just sayin.

Yes people question their leaders and speak out against what they believe is wrong, that is the wonderful thing about living in a free nation were we are given those rights. I won't take anyone's right away to question the actions of their governement, but calling your elected offical "Adolf" is beyond questioning, it's a new level of disprect I see happening, and saddly I believe part of the reason for butching of the President's name and the refering to him as being on the same playing field of one of the worlds' most hated leaders of all time stems from racist views that they have buried deep down, they are to ashamed to out and out say it so they hide it in "cleaver" ways.

I currenlty live in Texas I can't tell you how many bumper stickers I have seen that refer to your president in a racist manner.

examples I have seen lately:
"He ain't my cotton picking president"
"Don't Re-Nig - 2012"
"One Big Ass Misteak America" my favorite cause of the typo...lmao
"Do we need a BLACK man in the WHITE house?"

The Canadian Prime Minister has had pie thrown in his face (we can get up close and personal with our leaders) but to call Stephen Harper, Adolf Harper would raise more than a few eyebrows by many Canadians.
