It's always a shame to loose large trees.

Went thru it in April 2011...had 9 cedar trees over 80 feet tall...now we have 6...I almost cried. And it happened in about 30 seconds...So when you know its coming get to a safe place! Leave it to Mother Nature to grow new trees but she cant replace you or you loved ones...
So I do feel your pain.

www.... it seems like Mother Nature is on the war path!! Same things happened here on LI!!
The bright side the blossoms are still there stranger than fiction. Sad to lose such pretty trees.
Oh Sue that is a shame. When we bought our house there was a very old and magnificent crab apple tree in one corner. IIt was so beautiful when in full bloom that people came from all over the county to photograph it. Alas one night we had some wind with a storm that came through and in the morning it had fallen over. So sad.
Well, don't feel too sorry, Bob...they weren't our trees, but I feel bad for the people who have them in their yards! Thanks for looking!
Sure is, Bob! Thanks for looking!
I should have made it clear, ggttc, that they aren't our trees but happened nearby. Thanks for looking, and sorry about your trees, too!
It's sad to see! Thank, Angela!
It is sad. Thanks for looking lightcatcher!
