I've had the a6000 since last November, love it. Bought it specifically for easy to carry vacation gear. Attached is a shot from its inaugural trip to India.
David Busch wrote a manual that is probably the best around.

I did the same thing. I took a sony nex 7 and a 6000 for my trip to Turkey because I didn't want to lug around my Canon 5d mark 2

If you will send me your email address, I shall try to send you a copy of the a6000 manual in pdf form.

Since it is very large (many pages), I don't know if that will cause an email problem. Otherwise I shall be pleased to send it.

After looking at your and Tony R's pictures I am beginning to wonder if my A6000 is broken. It certainly has never taken pictures as nice as these.

Congratulations to both of you on your trip and your pictures.

This is the third time I'm posting this link in this thread.
I'm getting the feeling that I'm wasting my time searching for the link and then posting it - it seems like nobody is reading the posts anyway...

Others have posted the same link.
If this is NOT the link you are looking for, you need to be precise and tell us what you want!

You will be making the camera usable to me. I have had pdf copies printed and ring bound at Staples. I found it helpful.
Thanks.

First off I love the picture of the Mourning Doves.

Second I am with you about people not reading any of the previous responses before asking the same old question over and over again when it has already been answered. In this case three times.

It's the same with the question about where ot get the David Busch Book. Someone already posted a link to Barnes & Noble where it is available at the regular price.

Several times over the years I have offered to help people if they just called PM me, email or even call me but not once has anyone taken me up on the offer. It mystifies me why someone would ask for help and then do so little to make use of the help provided.

Anyhow, I hope you will continue with your efforts to help others. You are doing the right thing and it is appreciated even if not by those who need it most sometimes.

First off I love the picture of the Mourning Doves... (show quote)

Thank you! The mourning doves were regular visitors to our feeder all last summer. I believe they were a pair, as one was slightly larger than the other. Bird feeder is right on the sundeck and a good source of entertainment for us. And easy "prey" for my camera!

And no, I will not stop trying to help people, although sometimes it can get frustrating. But I always try to remember that I once knew nothing... (don't tell anybody, but now I think I know everything!).

Could it might possibly be, because your a6000 has never been to India or Turkey? :D

I went to the Barns And Noble site. I saw only an ebook. I don't do e books.
The fact that some thing has been posted here before is not a reason to not ask the question. This is not a great site to search on. I still don't know why the book is on Amazon for $100 to 150 dollars. I am still hunting for a site that will let me to down load a PDF I can print. All I can find is things to scroll through and click on. Useful but not like a book.
If one is concerned about the same question being asked they could mention to the endless questions about sensor size and how it relates to . lenses.

Wall, I don't understand you. You have asked this same question many times. I sent you the exact address to get the a6000 manual in pdf form on the Sony site. I told you an easy, inexpensive way to have the file made into a 5.5" x 8.5" spiral bound book. No response from you; question appears again.

Others have responded with similar information. Finally, I sent you an email offering to send you a complete pdf file if you would send me your email address. Again, no answer. What kind of a game are you playing?

You rant about how bad Sony is; they don't care about their customers, etc. Yet, Sony has an extremely complete and detailed file which you, apparently, refuse to obtain, even when someone offers to spend the time to put a complete manual in your hands.

AS far as I am concerned, all offers are cancelled. Sell your a6000;Sony will be better off for it.
