I just got home from Anchorage where I bought a Nikon D7100, new, at Best Buy. It came in a kit with the 18-140 & 55-300 lenses, as well as a carrying bag for everything. I haven't had a chance to do anything and the battery is currently charging, but I'm looking for a sunny day in the near future.
I considered the Olympus OMD-EM1, but they didn't have one in the store. I also checked out the EM-5ii, but while I liked the light weight and loved the 14-150 lens, the camera just felt too small in my hands, so I opted for the Nikon. It feels good in my hands. Now I just need to get out for a trial run.

nice buy, if the camera feels small in your hands, try a battery grip, it helps a lot.
Congrats! I expect we will see some photos posted by the weekend. :)

My condolences!!!

Keep us informed as to your dealings with Best Buy. I know several folks have had poor experience with Best Buy.
The 7100 is an awesome camera. Enjoy
Great camera and lenses. If it were me I'd be shooting my pictures on my walls, book cases, my kitchen, my dog, etc. as soon as I unpacked it.

I have had one since they were first introduced, I have used it hard and it has been a jewel. Like you, it feels good in my hands, while the smaller camera's simply don't.
You will be thrilled with your images, and the over all performance of the camera! congrats!
Congrats! What a nice gift to yourself. Enjoy.
You're going to like it. Good luck.
