Anyone have experience with the Sony 24-240mm FE lens?
Considering it for my telephoto option and overall travel lens.

I have it and love it for my A7. You can see my latest photos I've posted here sample a few with that lens. Decently sharp and breadth of range is great. It's my walkaround lens for that camera.
I have and like it. I've used it extensively during my recent Iceland trip and was pleased with the results.

Thank-you, your work is beautiful.
I assume its not just the lens!
Thank-you it sounds like a great lens.
Thank you for your kind words.

Use mine on both my a6000 and A7ii. Sharp and excellent color fidelity. Don't understand why it isn't more popular.
I too have the 24-240 lens and I am very pleased with it, a great walkaround lens and actually the only one I use on my A7ii.
Is it as large as everyone says it is?
It's quality glass so it is a little heavy. Don't find it to be a problem. Weighs less than my 70-210 f4 Minolta.
I have this lens and use it with my Sony a7rii. I use it extensively. Great results. Highly recommend.

Do you need an adaptor to use it on the a6000?
Edit: I think I may need a longer zoom for my upcoming trip to Ireland in May
There is no reason to need an adapter unless the sony a6000 takes only A-mount lenses. In that case, yes, you would need an adapter. I use the Sony adapter for the lenses owned for my a77.
It is a good lens. I use it on A7RM2. The only negative I have is it is on the heavy side. However, quality in a zoom lens means more mass.
