Thanks Jethro and Mcveed, but as I said I just want the standard owners manual that should have come with the D7200. I talked to National camera and found that it does come with new cameras that they sell. So as far as I am concerned it should also have come with a referb from Adorama too. All the referb cameras I have bought in the past came with one written in English and one written in Spanish. According to USPS tracking it will be shipped from 42nd street photo tomorrow. Thank you and all you others who have helped me locate a copy. Leon

You might also opt for a "manual" by David Busch or Darrell Young or other recommended authors. (Amazon) I've picked up a couple by Busch and successfully use them. Easier and more in depth than the Nikon manuals,at least to me.

Get Busch's field guide to the D7200. As good as the manual, wire bound, travels well.

Just received a D7200 referbed camera from Adorama and it came with out a owners manual. Called Adorama and was told to download it. I really would like to have a light weight copy to keep in the camera case. Nikonusa doesn't list one either. Does anyone know if the D7100 owners manual would be any different and if so what basically would the differences be? Thanks. Leon

Please email me with your order number: Helen@adorama.com and I'll have one printed off here and sent to you.

For my CANON 60D I printed off the downloadable manual in A4 format. Fortunately I had an employer who wouldn't notice a few trees worth of photocopier paper 'missing' and access to a photocopier that could do all kinds of tricks to size the image and flip the paper over.

I won't be doing that on a home printer or sending out at 10p a sheet.

I also have this 60D guide (link below for your camera) and find it useful.

I also have a set of these in my camera guide - bluecrane laminated in brief reference guide but they don't appear to have one for your model.

Me too!
The Nikon manual at first was almost useless. Bought David Busch's 500+ page version which explains everything. Now the Nikon version is easier to understand, and take with you.

Definitely don't waste any time, and get a David Busch manual for this D7200..You can get the large one, or a small form factor version which will fit you camera bag. The Busch mauand the absolute BEST reference manuals on any camera that he's published! Chek them out on Amazon..It will be the BEST and LEAST money you can spend on learning how to use this camera, and a great reference for future questions that I guarantee you will have on this marvelous camera!

Hello Helen. Thank you for your kind offer. I appreciate knowing that Adorama through you are trying to make this right. Just for future reference however even if I were to buy a toaster from Ace Hardware, a operation manual/sheet would have been included. This is a first time I have become frustrated with Adorama but am glad they have you to find a solution to problems. I will send you the order number via email. Thanks Leon

Leon, I have not purchased a toaster lately but I have purchased enough equipment to know that manufacturers are cutting costs everywhere they can. When the manufacturer looks at a paper manual that can and is available on-line they will choose that method before they choose to print something, then include it with the purchase. Manuals are a thing of the past, we just have to learn to live with that fact. You are looking for a manual for a camera? Who reads those? It's EASIER to buy a Busch book. Just read the posts on this board. People sound insulted when all they get is a simple camera manual they won't read anyway. Have fun with your new toaster.

I guess I am at a loose at Leon thinking. Purchases product from seller A and then has an issue with product so calls seller B with problem.

Leon can you please ex-plain the logic.

Adorama has always done well for me. David Busches books are great in addition.

Now on ebay. What a lot of fuss over nothing if somebody had just done a little work themselves.

I've also learned that you can call Nikon and get a manual $9. This was mentioned in another thread.

Its easy. I didn't buy the product from Nikon, I bought the product from Adorama. Every Nikon camera I have bought from distributers as well as directly through Nikon had manuals. The issue has nothing to do with David Busches books or any other third party book. In fairness to Adorama, their add did not list the manual as part of the package. At the time of delivery after calling Adorama, I was informed that I would have to download the manual. They did not have one for sale. I even checked Nikon. They didn't have one at the time either and I would assume they still don't. However one was found at 42ndstreetphoto. It appears that manuals included with cameras might be a thing of the past. Maybe chargers will become optional also in the future. Leon
