This came from the facebook as being located somewhere in Southern California. Does anyone know where is located? Thanks Cliff

The facebook post said it was in SoCal?? Cliff

Have you considered contacting the owner of the particular FaceBook page?
Depending on the settings, sometimes it is possible to write on their timeline, or you can leave a private message ("Message" , bottom right of the profile photo).

If this photograph was not altered where is/are shadow/s from the cross? Too much "divine" intervention?

Whatever is directly in front of the cross shows that its shadow is falling directly behind it, so the sun is directly behind the photographer. The shadow of the Cross would be directly behind it where we could not see it.

I thought I read something the other day about a google app that will search for a similar photo (or place) if you post one. I just glanced over the article because I was not interested then. Maybe you can google for more information or someone here has the time to help. Good luck and please post your results.

TinEye will do that. I checked it but this photo does not come up.
