Cat, your third shot of the lilly? with the water dropplets, knocked it right out of the park. PERFECT  That one you should get printed 8x10m or larger and hang on the wall.

Thank you, I love my lilies.
Cat , you sure have lot of bugs and flowers. That make beautiful photos .
The top photo of the butterfly is great, I really like it. The bottom photo of the lily is absolutely beautiful. The butterfly in the middle just happens to be sitting on a bland background otherwise that would have been great also.
On the bottom set, I like the photo of the lily with the bee, I think that the bottom on should have been centered a little better.
This top photo with the bee down inside is fantistic!

Yes I do...lol. I have flowers year round and bugs that love the flowers. One of the plants in my fish pond attracted wasps. I have a lot of pics of wasps too....lol

I do too. I am having trouble with the batteries in the camera. When I see the red light I start snapping away. I am working on my 1/3 and centering...Thank you for your input. I am learning and all advise is good to me.

I know when I go out to shoot what I am looking for. I have a plan in mind. I am not sure if my pictures are decent or I just like what I am shooting. I know the 1/3 rule, but is it always in effect. I do like my macro.
I don't know about the One third rule, but your photos look well composed to me. I think if the picture pleases you rules do not apply. I learned all kinds of "rules" in Art classes and Sometimes they just do not allow enough scope. Keep up your great work. And yes, practice, practice, practice.

I remember sitting for hours in my front yard just waiting......and waiting. I have no idea on what the camera was set on.
