Be proud of the photography and the beautiful young women.
I am a perfectionist when it comes to my photography and always beat myself up. But I am very proud of the girls.

I am NOT a portrait photographer but want to learn. I guess I will have to invest in some lights, umbrella's, etc. I know the lighting is not great on these shots, but I love the models (my granddaughters). My son and his wife have 4 beautiful girls and asked me to take their Xmas card shot on Sunday evening. The wife worked during the day so the only time we could get everyone together was at night, which made it difficult for me with lighting. Any comments or suggestions would be great. These are just a couple of individual portraits I did for fun.

I think these pics. of your grandkids are great. What kind of lighting did you use.

I would be soooo proud if I took photos like yours.
Very nice.
 You have beautiful subjects who obviously trust you so just go with the flow. I am sure you will produce lovely images.
Well, if you aren't a portrait photographer, you certainly don't have a long travel to get there. The lighting on the child is great!

You have a good "eye" and if you practice a little more you will turnout beautiful images. You have beautiful subjects to photograph, hope to see more of your work.

Wonderful series of images --- well done!!!
I don't think the bare skin is bad considering they are youths. Maybe adults, not so much, but these are all very good. Number 2 has the best skin tone, so maybe adjust the white balance for the others. But, all in all, excellent portraiture.
I agree with You
Wow! These are very nice.
You may not be a portrait photography but you sure could be!
I'm not qualified to critique anyone's photos, but these are really, really beautiful and very well done, Coolcameragirl! Keep up teh good work! Oh, and those girls are so beautiful, too!
