If you said "orange" you'd only be partially correct.
You can say that again littlebiddle. Thanks for that.

The multitude of colors is so well done Bob. The touch of listing various names is a neat idea.

Thanks Pierre. Our maple trees don't take on quite the deep red hues you get up north, but they're still among some of the most colorful in the state, probably only surpassed by the multi-hued redbud trees.

I suspect if I scanned about hard enough, I'd even find some puce in there Ron (rgb 204, 136, 153 - right border, below center and just above 3 chartreuse colored leaves). Thanks for looking.
Whatever the colors, Bob, fantastic image!

Nice post, Bob. Sort of reminds me of that box of 54 colors of crayons back in third grade, lol. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven!

I was a R&D printing ink chemist for over 30 years. I sometimes had to match colors, our bible was the PMS Book(Pantone Matching system) Pantone also maintains records for corporate colors; you can probably add a few thousand to that list of just orange.
The history of Pantone is an interesting one my first exposure was at Celanese Fibers Marketing company late 1960's
History:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PantoneRegarding photo, of course excellent in keeping with Bob's work.... excellence. But Bob, in polite UHH circles we do not use color names rather we speak of eye sensations using the RGB #s. As you did above: "I'd even find some puce in there Ron (rgb 204, 136, 153 - right border)"
But, David, you can best answer questions regarding the UV resistance of aftermarket inks for ink jets. Please is they is or is the ain't?
Good capture Bob. Fall colors are great. I am in Mn. chasing fall colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Randy. And if you were like me, as a young boy I despaired of ever learning all those color names, little knowing in my adulthood that Google would handle all of that for me.
