I hope you love your new lens. I bought a new Sigma wide angle for my Nikon D5500 and Sigma sent me a letter and a pre-paid mailer to mail the lens to them so they could adjust the firmware. Great service.

Had to wait for B&H to open. Ordered Big Sig 150-600 Sport for Nikon D810. Have the Tamron and am not overly impressed with it. Will be able to do some comparison shots and see what that shows. This addiction is not getting better. Oh well!!

Wow! What great service! UPS delivers camera equipment and cleans out your septic truck.

If your experience is like mine, you will like it.

And cleans out your bank account as well
I have Sigzilla mounted on a D810, and D4s... and the images are incredible. Just as sharp as my Nikon 80-400 and the auto focus is fast. I tried with a 1/4" TC but the AF was considerably slower. When I need extra zoom I used the DX crop instead with very good results.
You only have to get used to the weight... it"s a heavy piece of glass especially when walking long distances mounted on the pod... HAPPY HUNTING

Not sure why I'm getting these double post... I must be accidentally pushing the button twice.

I also own the 150-600 Sport and find it a good lens. Had tested the Tamron for a day, and prefered the Sigma. Neither are bad. Not as sharp as a fixed lens, but not as expensive either. I own the Dock and would not want to be without it for its price. As an example, I have a Nikon lens that needs a firmware update. If it were a Sigma, I could do that online. And that's before all the other great stuff the dock provides. Best of luck.

For what those raincoats go for, you ought to at least get yourself one each of the "holy trinity".
