Right now clear and crisp. Bring wide assortment of clothing as you MIGHT get weather changes. But that is good for pictures.

This s the time of year that the elk migrate down to the lower pasture around Jackson and the elk refuge. Ask at the refuge about some good spots to get photos of the migration. Years ago I was there at the end of September and watched about 80 elk swim across the river. It was an awesome sight! But there is no end of awesome sights in the Tetons and Yellowstone! Have a fantastic trip!

Hope you are eligible for and have a senior pass (62). They have changed the policy that made one entrance fee cover both Grand Teton and Yellowstone and increased the entry fees. Still a bargain but just so you know.

Make sure you get to Yellowstone's Lamar Valley. Got real good looks at the four wolf pups two weeks ago.
