Tamron 18-270 Advice Needed for my T3i

I've been looking at quite a few lenses in this focal length range and i sort of like this one..................................i think. I have the Sigma 150-600 C and need something for the short end. I considered the Sigma 50-150 (used), but it will leave me lacking on the wider end and maybe even not long enough on the long end.
The 18-270 Tamron gets pretty good reviews from what i have read, but i would like to get some opinions from people on here, or if you have any other suggestions i would appreciate that also. I am trying to keep the cost in the $300.00-$400.00 range.

Yes, you're right, i would like to have that one but it's more than i want to put into another lens right now.

The 18-270 Tamron works great. I have one and it was a great buy for the money.

We use the 18-270 Tamron on a Nikon D90 as a walk around lens and it rarely comes off. We think it is great. It seems to be sharper on some occasions than a 18-250 Sigma on the Nikon D7000. I don't think you will go wrong.

I have been using this lens for 2 1/2 years and it is on the camera 95% of the time. For the money it is a great lens. I have gotten some fantastic shots with it. I also have the Sigzilla contemporary and love it.

I use a Tamrom 18-270 Piezo for Canon. I had its predecessor too. I love it. If I have to leave the house or car with one lens, it is this one. Great travel lens. I think you'll be very happy.

i just used this lens for the first time last week on my nikon 7000 i was not disappointed. i purchased it on ebay $220.00. the lens is light, quick focus long and short i am very satisfied. it was much easier to travel with than my Nikon 750 with the big heavy 70-300. happy hunting

I have the 18-270 that I use on my T1i. It has excellent stabilization and I can hand hold the full 415 mm equivalent. It is a little soft at the top, but very good at the wide end. I think you will enjoy it.

I have the lens and use it on my Canon T3i. It was the only lens I took on my last three trips and covered the things I needed it to cover. It also stays on the camera for running around locally on the off chance I'll see a photo op.
