I'm coming in a little late but you have all been spot on with some great posts today. I was playing around with my new little Fuji, trying out some of the crazy filters it has in its repertoire.

I think iced coffee is the most cooling, refreshing drink I have ever had. I make it all the time: 1 cup of grounds in a half gal. jar, fill with facet water, let sit for 24-48 hours, strain through a coffee filter, add about 1/2 c. of water (to taste), pour over ice, add cream or milk and it is delicious. (I use a small colander with the coffee filter to strain.) Store in frig. I frequently let mine sit in the sun to brew. Try it, you will like it.

Neat! I don't think We have such in our town. I remember Mom and Papa used to drink iced coffee in the summer. I thought it a gross idea but then I was only drinking tea at the time so I had my excuses.

These are a few from this last week. I took flowers to my friends at the bank and the second time I delivered a big vase, the one in blue, and there was a man there who wanted to buy it just like that. He wanted it for his wife. Unfortunately for him the vase was not replaceable and besides that it was for my friends. I told him sorry and he gave me his card and I gave him mine and so when he gets back in town if I still have anything to offer he would like to give some to his wife. This sort of thing happens often and when it produces an actual sell I am thrilled and buy some more flowers to go in my garden!!!

Thanks Corolyn. Finally had a chance to enjoy all that NC has to offer!

Well Mom of 2 You seem to be following the water, beach and sky that we have seen so far. The closeup of the pelican reminds me of my visit to a beach in Florida in my traveling days. Thanks for posting these Summer shots.
