...Well, at least most of the time! His name is Ross. The videos were made over a period of about 18 months and though the pony (Ed) was good most of the time, they picked out his naughty moments and put them together for this video. It gets funnier as it goes along so stay til the end.

It's been one of my favorites for a while now. You can tell that the little guy and that silly pony are both having way too much fun!! Glad you enjoyed it.

   Nooooo, that pony is priceless. Ross' mom said he loved Ed and didn't want to sell him even after he outgrew him. Those two understood esch other. I used to have a big horse that did much the same a lot of the time and I LOVED it! I think that's whay I enjoyed this so much.

A horse without spirit has no personality and it's that personality that creates relationship which turns into love. I too had an ornery one that I've loved.

I can understand that, Pepper! At one time we had 77 horses and every one we had was exactly like someone I knew or had known. Some were so darn funny, some spirited, some even had a kind of "who cares" personality.

Oh how I enjoyed that video! That child is going to be some rider.(or should I say, he is already) Love the smile on his face when pony is being bratty. Thanks for sharing.
Must pass along to my riding friends.

Yep, he's a big guy now, but I loved to watch him laughing and having such a good time riding....and falling. I'm glad he enjoyed it.

I love that smile too. He was just having way too much fun. Looking at the size of Ed (I'd say he's a Shetland), Ross didn't have far to fall and I know how soft the ground can be in a riding ring.

Thanks for that. I laughed till I cried. I started out with a pony also. Obviously, Ed's favorite song is Sinatra's "I Did It My Way."

Someone should shoot that little pony before he seriously hurts that little man. I had a pony like that when I was a kid . It to should have been shot. I think the most pony's are mean. A kid is better of with a big horse.

It's true, some ponies are pretty naughty, but if you watch this video closer, you will see that Ross is popping him with that little whip and making him do most of that. The fact is, Ross was enjoying the heck out of it and so was the pony. Ross' mom said he LOVED Ed and never wanted to give him up even when he outgrew him. Ross is grown now...(old video), but would have been totally devastated if anyone had done anything to hurt that pony.
