My last offering for this subject. Some images bring joy and some bring tears. Some bring both. I am so proud of my children. This is not a good photo because it is a photo of a photo that hangs on my wall. It is, however, the last photo of all my children. My oldest daughter died while a senior in college.
The last photo is my gift to the world: my grandchildren. I do hope the world will treat them kindly!

Thanks for hosting, Elizabeth, and thanks for sharing yourself and your heritage with us - happy, sad, poignant moments that continue to shape your life and your photographic art.

This was such an interesting challenge! Thank you for hosting! In honor of my 86 year old amazing Mom, who broke her hip yesterday and is recovering from surgery today. Posting from her room as I am staying with her 24/7!

Husband took this one - we have to work on his focusing! Lol!

You have a lovely mom and dad. So nice that you can be with them when they need you. Hope your mom recovers with speed and no problems. I will add her to my prayers.

Thanks to all of you who shared your heritage with us. It is great to see your loved ones and to hear your stories. I hope I have encouraged you to collect your family photos and document the names and stories now. More stories are made every day and the old ones will become dim with time. I also hope that you have a new appreciation for family and those who went before you. They are what made you what you are today.
Blessings to each of you!!!

Good looking family, E Mang. Thanks for the challenge. It got my rear in gear to get some of those archives scanned that have been waiting on me for years. Great fun and I enjoyed everyone sharing theirs with us too.

Elizabeth, you did a marvelous job hosting! You are so right on with documentation for generations to come. It seems so important to give a sense of where you come from and the toils that have gone down to bring us where we are today! A huge feeling of thanksgiving and a realization of all the blessings bestowed on us by our ancestors! :)
