We have a re-run of series 6 on Friday nights which I assume is a prelude to the launching of the new series later in the year,
and you right about the Russia House,

We were at Port Issac last Friday and they were filming the latest series of Doc Martin,-- In the series Port Issac, on the west coast of Cornwall, is called Portwenn and this scene was outside what is Portwenn School with Caroline Catz who plays Doc Martins wife Louisa, formally Glasson in the earlier series prior to there marriage. We didn't see Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) as he was on set the day before.

Great set geoff...I like the doc Martin series.

What an enjoyable series Geoff. I;m sorry you missed seeing Martin Clunes, however you did et some nice pictures of Carolyn Catz who is much the better looking have of the Ellingham family. :-P Such fun being able to catch a glimpse of what goes on during the filming of a TV series, especially in such a charming village as Port Isaac.I love 'Doc Martin' as well as all the comedies and dramas we are fortunate to see on our Public Broadcasting Stations. BBC knows how!!!

Nice job, Geoff; I love this show. I am also a fan of Reggie Perrin.

Cheers Rob, I have just realised that Martin Clunes re-did Reggie Perrin, but the original series staring Leonard Rossiter was such a massive hit here I think Clunes, despite his comedy genius, was let down by a less than average production and it didn't come up to the original.
