It looks like a stormy river, and sorry your boat is somewhat damaged, but at least your family and home are safe. I haven't seen a really good rainstorm in several years, and hope one comes soon.

I feel for your Mary, LI is no stranger to flooding like you are dealing with. Glad to hear you are safe and dry.
Praying things will dry up soon...
:-D

Thank you Angela. Today is a nice day, but people are busy cleaning up

As long as it's not snow...

But a nasty storm for sure. Great shots, hope your camera didn't get too wet!

I know just what we need is 60 inches of snow. But at least it would not last long!

Glad you liked them. Do not worry I was a sissy and stayed in the truck. Got wet too many times yesterday!

Thanks for looking Jeff. It was a storm from hell. It was not cold really. It was in the 60's. That was a good thing.

Thanks for looking. Yes the river was raging. The boats can be fixed. I wish I could send you some rain.

Wow! You're really getting a beating, Mary! Love the "No Parking" sign! I don't think anyone will even try!

Thanks for looking Sue. Everyone has been saying this is the worse they have seen in years. It was very wild. Hope we do not get another in my time!

Well they are fools out there for sure, it was a wonder some one did not try to park there or use the boat ramp! LOL

Thanks for looking Val. We definitely had white caps in the river. There are roads still closed to flooding. Yes I feel sorry for the ones who did get water in their homes. Our one boat did get damaged from nose diving into the dock pole. But it could have been worse.

The western part of Lake Erie is catching hell today. Most of the activities in the city of Toledo have been canceled. Mother Nature will not let go.

Here are some pictures of the neighborhood where I live. I count my blessing because some of the other areas around here I know have water in their homes.

These pictures are of the Ottawa River. Where we have a dock. Our poor wooden Lyman is taking a beating.

mother nature is not being very nice to you mary. i hope the weather will settle down soon . be careful and wear a life jacket!

Thanks for looking Merry. Yeah the lake did settled down. But the smaller rivers spilled their banks too. Several smaller towns had to suffer days after us. We were on the lake over the weekend, I could not believe the debris that was floating in the water.
