The western part of Lake Erie is catching hell today. Most of the activities in the city of Toledo have been canceled. Mother Nature will not let go.

Here are some pictures of the neighborhood where I live. I count my blessing because some of the other areas around here I know have water in their homes.

These pictures are of the Ottawa River. Where we have a dock. Our poor wooden Lyman is taking a beating.

Thanks for looking djtravels. My hubby put in many months restoring her. She is a mid 50's and I think she is around 14 foot. She is a wonderful boat. She has suffered some damaged from this storm,. but yeah I hope she will be ok.

The rest of the night. The wind is suppose to switch out of the North, right now it is (or was) NNE and blowing at a steady 25 mph or more with gust up to 45. Flooding and trees down all over.

Thanks Jim. We will try to be safe. I was a chicken and took these from the truck. Glad you liked them too.

So sorry for you nasty weather, Mary. Hope no further damage.

What a June for all of us, it seems - just different kinds of misery, depending on your corner of the country. Our 105 - 110 degrees is supposed to continue for at least 8 more days. Unimaginable. Presumably, any commercial fruit not yet ready for picking (e.g. apples) will be totally fried.

Last couple I saw was 50-51, 14 foot lapstake, of course. Good luck with the damage control.

Thanks just go back home from taking care of our Sea Ray. The lines busted and it was coming off the float
We are not having a good day. But it has been an adventure. It could be worse.

Thanks Linda, well our Sea Ray started to come off the float. The lines busted and did damage to the hull. :(

I know this weather is bad for everyone. Try to stay cool

This is a lapstake. I checked. It's a 55 and 13 foot. Thanks. Hope she will be ok. Now we have hull damage on our Sea Ray.
