Found a potential color scheme for my Chevy SWB Short Wide truck.
Not significant, simply a couple of pics.
Grabbed and processed in phone with my Moto G 5Mp phone running Android Lollipop. Much processing available in phone.
All my film gear and this phone.... do I need dedicated digital gear?

Kuzano, I suggest you move to a state that at least has RED license plates!!! That front plate looks like crap! :lol: :lol:

Yeah.. will probably spring for a vanity plate.... $85 year.
I do plan on running one of these on the back to distract from the plate there. I'll have it in the upright position except when on a roadside stop.

Good eye.. and quite true. Candy Apple Red was an offshoot in the custom car market of the 60's. Here is a routine Chevy that frequents local shows, specified at Candy Apple Red contender.
And Yes, you are right..... It looks quite like the truck color, so I'll concur on Candy Apple Red instead of the Burgundy I called it originally.
It might also be pertinent at this point and indicated that RED is one of the most important and expensive pigment colors in the market. I used to pay $30-$50 per gallon in the 70's when I painted cars (hobby).
Now a gallon of the same RED will cost about $500 to $600 per gallon from Automotive Paint Supply Stores.
